The Stukeleys Heritage Group exists to explore, collect, save, share and make accessible information about the history and heritage of the villages of Great Stukeley and Little Stukeley and its residents. It is open to all those interested in the past of these communities whether they are newcomers or long-established residents.

The village hall hosts a number of village groups such as the Table Tennis Club & Women’s Institute. The Management Committee also holds regular events including Dinner Dances, Barn Dances, Christmas events, Old Time Music Hall, Fashion Shows and much more.

The Stukeleys WI has a long history in the villages, recently celebrating its 95th anniversary. It usually meets for talks and activities every second Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm in Great Stukeley Village Hall, see the Stukeleys Magazine for details or contact Jan Sly on 450197.

Sets off for a stroll every first Wednesday in the month at 10.00 am from the parish notice board at Church Road/West View, Great Stukeley. Check times in the Stukeleys Magazine. All are welcome to join in.

A family-friendly club and welcome players of all abilities and ages. Regular weekly sessions are held in Great Stukeley Village Hall which is a purpose-built sports hall with wooden sprung floor with space for 5 tables. Coaching is provided free of charge by two qualified coaches for those keen to develop their skills and players compete in national leagues.

The website contains all the information necessary, but users OF ANY AGE have to be Members – Annual Fee £15.00. Tel. No. 01480 411114. They run ‘Ring & Ride’ which is a pre-bookable service operating throughout Huntingdonshire five days a week. The service is based on a timetable/route and users holding a Cambridgeshire County Council bus pass can use the service free of charge after registering. If you are eligible for Ring and Ride, then you can use HACT for any reason. For example; shopping, pubs and restaurants, etc. You must be a member of HACT to use this service. Temple Southern Baptist Church, Ermine Street, Little Stukeley.

A local bus service run by Huntingdon-based housing association, Luminus Group, for use by local people living in Huntingdon and the surrounding villages.

Annual membership is £10 and there is a small on-board charge for each trip. The service is not limited to Luminus tenants and the bus has some limited space to accommodate walking aids, wheelchairs, rollators or small mobility scooters.

A new schedule of trips is issued every three months. For further details ring 01480 428428.

Sited in the Huntingdon District Council car park in Malthouse Close, Huntingdon (map), Shopmobility is open 9 am – 3 pm, Mon – sat.

Yearly membership is available with nothing more to pay when using the scooters. Non-members will be asked to pay a small hire fee for each use.
