The Parish Council wishes to inform residents that improvement works at the park will now commence on 17 August. This revised start date has been agreed in order to minimise disruption during the school summer holidays, when the park is expected to be heavily used.
The contractor, WLL, will begin works on 17 August, with the programme anticipated to take approximately 14 weeks.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to maintain access to the MUGA during the construction period. Due to the nature of the works and the need to ensure public safety, WLL has advised that a safe pedestrian route cannot be provided. As a result, the entire park will be closed for the duration of the works.
